Merk Investments adds Chief Economist & Global Strategist

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- Merk Investments, the mutual fund company managing the Merk Asian Currency Fund (MEAFX) and the Merk Hard Currency Fund (MERKX), announced today that it has hired Joseph Brusuelas as chief economist and global strategist. Mr. Brusuelas will head research and analysis and communicate the Merk Perspective to the markets. Mr. Brusuelas joins Merk Investments from IDEAglobal where he worked as the chief U.S. economist.
