RaboDirect.ie Puts Spring into Finances - No Entry Fees on Investment Funds in April

Dublin, Ireland (PRWEB) April 6, 2008 -- Spring is in the air at RaboDirect (www.RaboDirect.ie), Europe's largest online bank, who today announced there will be no entry fees on all investment funds for the month of April. The removal of entry fees, which are normally 0.75%, will apply to RaboDirect's entire portfolio of managed funds from Oppenheim, Robeco, Blackrock Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and Henderson Global Investors. The sale will benefit all new and existing RaboDirect customers.

According to Greg McAweeney, General Manager at RaboDirect, "One of the biggest challenges facing Irish investors in 2008 is the temptation to act impulsively and focus on prices or short-term performance as opposed to fundamental values. In volatile times, a rational and longer-term strategy coupled with regular investing and diversification is key to surviving market ups and downs. Similarly, it's essential to value investment assets based on today's fundamentals and not those of the past. Many opportunities to invest remain despite the volatility of recent months and our no-fee sale will appeal to investors who want to add to their investment portfolios. With a minimum entry of only ?100, RaboDirect investment funds are designed to appeal to a range of investors with varying risk profiles. The investor decides which funds to go into and at what level, and they can use RaboDirect's range of investor tools and podcasts to help with their investment strategy. The funds are execution-only and no bid/offer spreads, encashment penalties or switching fees are passed on to the customer."

Last month RaboDirect expanded its fund range to include three new investment funds including Robeco Food & Agri and Telecom Services funds and a hedged Euro version of the BlackRock Merrill Lynch (MLIIF) Global Allocation Fund.
