Dream Fills Finance System Shoes at Dolcis
Harrogate, West Yorkshire (PRWEB) October 8, 2007 -- CODA Group, the finance software specialist, today announced that UK shoe retailer, Dolcis Ltd, has purchased licenses for its Dream accounting software.
* Functionality and ease of use encourage repeat business * Flexible and scaleable, user-defined accounting * Integral purchasing offers direct benefits for retailers
Dolcis is a UK and European retailer of women's and men's footwear and accessories. Finance Director, Richard Clark, had previously implemented and used the Dream software and knew that it would meet the needs of Dolcis now and in the future.
"I have used Dream in the past and I've always been impressed with the features and functionality it offers," said Mr. Clark. "Having been through a Dream implementation project several years' ago, I wanted to use my knowledge and experience to Dolcis' advantage. In addition, Dolcis' former owners are Dream users, so we expect the data migration to be relatively straightforward and user training requirements minimal."
Dream is based totally on Windows technology, with highly intuitive, easy-to-use systems and interfaces. Input of data is easy, swift and accurate and input screens can be tailored to suit each user. Combined with strengths such as its unified ledger design and instant transaction posting, it helps accounts departments to streamline period end close processes. Managers gain immediate access to the information they need for making more informed decisions and Dream's drill-down and reporting capabilities permit all users easy access to balances, accounts transactions and documents.
"Dream is particularly useful for retailers as it includes integral purchasing functionality," added Mr. Clark. "As well as browser-based purchase order handling, it includes sales order processing functionality, including the handling of order commitments and changes, order status review, allocation of discounts and invoice production."
In addition to Dream, Dolcis has purchased licenses for CODA's DreamView reporting tool. This provides direct access to Dolcis external reporting product from the Dream software enabling users to interrogate data and prepare custom reports.
