O'Sullivan Films Announces New Investment -- Doubles Press Polish Capacity

Winchester, VA (PRWEB) October 10, 2007 -- Today, O'Sullivan Films, a leading North American producer of flexible vinyl and olefin films and sheeting, announced that it would start-up a new pressed polished sheet manufacturing site in early October in its Winchester, VA location.

This facility will more than double O'Sullivan's current sheet capacity. New business is being targeted in North America with a strong emphasis for Europe, Asia, and Australia. Additionally, new products are being developed for applications beyond those currently serviced in Marine and Automotive convertible tops.

Dennis Ruen, O'Sullivan's Vice President of Sales, noted that "we are making this investment to take advantage of growing market opportunities. We are in the process of building a dedicated team that will have a strong customer focus. We will call on customers at their business location. As a part of the expansion Chris Hahn, O'Sullivan's Director of Process Engineering, emphasized that "investments are being made to make sure we provide our customers with the best possible quality. We will also be able to fulfill our growing customer requirements by doubling our production capacity. Additions include state of the art metals, improved climate control and air handling systems for surface consistency, and automated process control equipment."
