The Industry Measure Announces New Series of Graphic Arts Investment Projections Reports
New York (PRWEB) July 20, 2007 -- One of the most requested types of information The Industry Measure receives from graphic arts industry vendors and suppliers is: how many digital presses, color scanners, wide-format printers, etc., will be bought by graphic arts professionals in the next 12 months? In the past, we have provided these data to clients individually, but we now are making our investment projections for a wide variety of graphic arts hardware, software, and equipment available as special reports.
The Industry Measure has released the first two reports in its new series of graphic arts investment projections -- "Digital Imaging Equipment" and "Workstations and Servers." Each special report contains data drawn from The Industry Measure's twice-yearly or yearly surveys of the graphic arts markets: print and prepress establishments, graphic design and production firms, publishing companies, and Internet design and development firms. Each report provides the estimated number of units of a given item expected to be bought and an estimated dollar figure of investment in that item. For each item, the report provides a range of investment scenarios, from bullish (the market at 100%, or everyone who has said that they will buy an item actually buying one) to bearish (the market at 67%--only two-thirds of those who said they will buy an item actually buying one). Each report also provides an "Industry Measure forecast," or what our analysts expect the most likely level of investment in an item will be.
"Digital Imaging Equipment" projects graphic arts' companies planned investment in digital cameras and color scanners, broken down by price range. "Workstations and Servers" projects graphic arts' companies planned investment in graphic production desktops and servers, broken down by operating system or platform.
Future reports in this series will include "Graphic Production Software," "Color Printers and Proofers," "Digital Presses," "Computer to Plate Equipment," and more.
Report highlights:
In the next 12 months: * graphic design firms will spend an estimated $15.8 million on digital cameras for production; * commercial printers will spend an estimated $16.8 million on graphic production workstations; * magazine publishers will spend an estimated $4.1 million on color scanners; * Web designers will spend an estimated $5.5 million on servers for production.
Availability:
The "Digital Imaging Equipment" (54 pages) and "Workstations and Servers" (45 pages) investment projection reports are available for immediate purchase by visiting the secure Industry Measure eStore online at www.theindustrymeasure.com or by phone at 866-873-6310.
