Macquarie Bank signs Equity Deal with Specialist Property Investment Group - Aviate

(PRWEB) May 24, 2007 -- Macquarie Bank ("Macquarie") today announced it had signed an 'equity deed' with the Aviate Group Pty Ltd ("Aviate") that enables it to acquire a stake of the specialist property investment company in the future. Under the terms of agreement, Macquarie can convert the 'equity deed' into a 30 per cent stake of the company providing both parties fulfil agreed terms and conditions.

Founded in 2001, Aviate specialises in providing property investors with access to systematically researched and selected high quality investment properties.

Following the announcement, Macquarie Relationship Banking Executive Director, Dean Firth, said: "Australians have typically had a strong passion for direct property investment as an asset class. We believe this agreement will provide Aviate with the capital necessary to expand their business model and continue to provide investors with independent qualitative information about direct property investments."
